The Winter Program, which started in 2002, is an eight-week program designed to help players expand their skill base and understanding of golf mechanics through drill work, filming, practice and instruction. 
This program is appropriate for middle and high school players who enjoy golf and competition. In 2010, we invited adults to participate as well, albeit on a night and time dedicated just for adults.
In ten years, more than 40 players have moved on to the college ranks. Each year, 15 players are chosen from each conference (locally represented: Olympian, Eastern Valley and FVA); Swing Solutions Winter Program participants have earned better than 80 percent of those spots!
The timing of the program is designed to take players into their spring sport with enhanced confidence. Coupling the program with our Spring Trip to Port St. Lucie Florida is a formula for success and great memories.
Each year golf professionals Steve Howe and Carolyn Barnett-Howe host a spring trip to Port St. Lucie Florida – home of the PGA of America’s fine golf facilities. Because spring breaks vary for many school districts, the Howe’s host two consecutive weeks. Individuals and families are welcomed. Please see our flyer for this year’s dates and costs.
