Founded in 2009, in Appleton Wisconsin, the Bobbie Barnett Memorial Foundation is a partnership of leaders, mentors, educators and the community, designed to share the values and skills of golf one swing at a time. As a long-term educator and community volunteer Bobbie Barnett always brought to the surface the best in the people she touched. The Foundation honoring her name seeks to do the very same.
The Foundation offers many exciting opportunities for children, to participate in golf no matter their socio-economic background. We believe every child should have the opportunity to be introduced to the game of golf.
With golf children can:
- Exceed their own expectations
- Build confidence
- Build a sense of accomplishment
- Build character
- And build self-esteem.
With this accomplished we know our communities will be greatly enhanced by the children who grow up with confidence, character and strong self esteem.
