Carolyn Barnett Howe

Carolyn is a graduate of the University of New Mexico, where she competed on their nationally ranked Women’s Golf team. On eleven occasions, Carolyn has qualified for the Wisconsin Men’s State Open. She was the first female PGA professional to qualify for the Women’s US Open – 1992 Atlanta. She qualified again in 1996 when the Open was held at Pine Needles. She is a four-time Wisconsin Women’s State Open Champion. She was the first woman inducted into the Appleton East High School Hall of Fame. She has been a director at large for the Wisconsin PGA. She is passionate about teaching the game of golf. She founded Swing Solutions in 2002 and has been a key instructor to many of the state-ranked junior golfers in Wisconsin.

Steve Howe

Steve is a twenty-five year member of the PGA, a past-president of the Wisconsin Section. Steve has been recognized on numerous occasions for his contributions to golf: Professional of the Year, Merchandiser of the Year and Junior Golf Leader. The High School Coaches Association twice recognized him as “Junior Leader of the Year” for Wisconsin. He is active in the community; he has served on the Menasha School Board for twelve years, the last three as president. He is the golf coach at Xavier High School in Appleton (2008 State Champions). He is the co-founder of Swing Solutions. He imparts his love of golf through coaching and teaching.
